Round turret built in gutter and the soffit under was missing over 14" of all metal where old downspout use to be.
First challenge was the scaffolding set up over at the neighbors property. So we had to set up a unique scaffolding set around the turret in order to remove all the ornaments on that side.
The straight section was not the problem. 100% of the ornaments were reproduced as the tin metal was held by multiple layers of paint. Leska LLC had to first fix the mortar joists and then all new structural joists from the inside on the counter lever.
Then we had to create actual bottom soffit template to figure out exactly how long the turret really was and if it was continuous radius or not. Then the reproduction off all ornaments took a place.
The turret received tapered copper panels with standing seam and the flat mansard roof Ludowici T12 hi glazed tiles. This was to date one of most difficult pieces to reproduce due to bad work access and large section was missing. Maybe that's why I love to show it off so much.
