Unfortunately traditional tiles (clay or concrete could not be used as the roof trusses were not designed to support such weight. Traditional clay or concrete weights around 13lbs/sqft. Synthetic is 5lbs/sqft that means traditional trusses for asphalt shingles are sufficient.
