Leska inspected 27 years old ballasted roof with large hole in the middle. Owner wanted at least 30 year affordable no maintenance roof. This narrow the product to 2 products. Garden roof or metal roof as PVC membrane against the siding and full S exposure may be pushing the limit.
Owner did love the no painting maintenance, lightweight structure and attractive looking metal roof. Large carpentry work was involved. Due to small space Roxul Insulation was used (more stable R) Value. Pre painted metal standing seam metal roof was installed with classical European roof to wall details were used.
