Leska LLC is cetified installer and applicator for those types of flat roof materials:
Materials will be selected by expected longevity
#1. Copper pre tinned flat seam or stainless flat seam.
Historically the longest lasting flat seam roof system Certified with CDA (Copper Development Association)
Great alternative to small or complex roof areas. High cost.
#2. Standing seam metal Roof
In special applications the pitch can be as low as 1/4"/12 and standing seam metal roof can be used.
Most of townhomes in Baltimore and DC had terne (bare metal standing seam metal rooof and lasted up to 80 years) Modern technologies warranty paint finishes alone for 35 years. This is a fantastic candidate and an under appreciated product for flat roofs. We are also certified installers of rain water harvesting systems so you can capture your water, store it and re use it for variety of applications of your choosing.

#3. Green Roofs
The concept is simple. Use a quality membrane, preferably one which is heat fused or is self healing
and protect the top membrane with plants in trays.
The few inches of dirst greatly reduces the heat index and eliminates harmful UV rays. This is a great solution to control storm water.
The only drawback is weight.
Certifications Kemper, GAF and IB PVC
#4. IB PVC Membrane
One of the best heat fusing material for flat roofs.
Multiple colors and thicknesses. Membrane can be eaither fully adhered or mechanically attached. A white IB PVC roof will reduce your cooling bill up to 30% over a balck EPDM roof of the same size.
IB Roofs also Offer fully integrated thin film Solar panels technology. The garden roofing membrane is another key component to their system.
#5. Liquid technology (epoxy based or water based)
Imagine a product out there where you can simply brush on layers of liquid to create fully monolithic surface integrated with reinforcing fabric mesh... This is liquid technology. Not only is it a beatiful system but it can be also very ornamental and used with finished decks, balconies and with an additional layer of stone finish.
Additional application can be used as extension of soon to be failed flat roof.
Certifications: Kemper, Siplast, Sealoflex
#6. TPO
Versico TPO is another prduct which can be fully heat welded. We also have an option with a no weld seam which is a great solutions if cost is going to be a deciding factor for your new roof. Because of the reduction of heating cost, the most popular color is white. This product, per manufacture requirements, needs maintenance contract to re-seal off in filed cut edges every 2 years to make sure you get the expected life out of your roof.
Certifications: Versico
#7. EPDM (rubber)
Today, rubber is avilable in white and not only black finish. The probelm with the EPDM is seams. This product does require maintenance contracts, and Leska feels that if the roof is simple with very limited complications and if the owner applies a relective white coating with additional detail to all seams this is good system. The problem is that if everything is done to the ideal standards its cost is the same as TPO.
